The visit was as inspiring as ever, with many recipients developing strongly and some interesting new businesses starting off. But, inevitably given the hard realities of life for these women, a few sad losses of much loved partners. Recipients start with a grant up to £100, and some take a loan of £200 repayable over 10 months. They can take a second loan of up to £300 to expand their businesses.
